Oh, this is great

There are three letters of complaint to Pat Evenson-Brady in the HR news about the non-snow days we had, in a special boxed section on the "letters to the editor" page..here are a few gems from them:

Use Common Sense
On January 6, one of the biggest snow days in 10 years, Hood River County Schools were declared open. The only schools from the coast to The Dalles that were not closed due to hazardous weather conditions.
Why aren't our community kids more important than saving a buck?

This is acceptable?
I've VERY disappointed in the actions of our school superintendant!
Today (Tuesday) I took my son off the bus and noticed it was FROZEN!
Was our decision-maker watching the same news? Did she spend 45 minutes out in the 8 degree (actually colder if you count windchill) weather waiting for the broke down bus? No, our children did.

'F' for decision
One Portland newscaster joked that "the Hood River school district superintendant must be getting to work on a sleigh." Maybe Pat Evenson-Brady's decision was based on the fact that she spent some time in Alaska. Whatever the reason, it is no laughing matter. Pat Evenson-Brady gets a "F" for her poor decision making skills, one that could make us pay the ultimate price: the safety of our children.
