Ah, self defense class. At least we didn't have to scream. Unbeknownst to me, some suspicious activity took place in our driveway super early in the morning..Tim heard a car pull in and went and opened the front door, then he heard voices, suposedly the classic "let's go!" in an urgent manner, followed by sounds of a car starting and leaving. And mom saw a red car out in the orchard yesterday too. Those guys that were involved in an altercation with Tim on the tenth day of April were driving in a red car. So now we're all paranoid and are keeping lights on at night. And then of course the "sleep tight" sniper w/dart gun sign has found a home at the top of our driveway. Lovely.
So after that ordeal Tim headed over to the cougar problem area and there were a bunch of neighbors still-hunting with a bleating fawn caller over there. Tim saw the cougar. And I and my camera were not there. Damn! But it still roams freely. No one's even shot and missed yet. Plus there's another, bigger cougar hanging around there too.

This afternoon I spent baking cookies for tomorrow. Weather report for monday: daytime high: 71 fahrenheit overnight low: 48. Nicest weather will be: between 4 and 5 pm.
