I didn't accomplish anything great today. Pre-college antler sale for Scott however. I threw in a pair of fallow sheds too, my only representation of that species, and I don't think I made a profit, just regained some spent money. Oh well.

I went hiking again this evening, back to that ridgetop because it looks to be a prime wildlife viewing area. But I didn't see anything after over an hour of silently sitting. Just a bunch of chubby noisy songbirds, like wrens, juncos, and western tanagers. I left a bit late..darkness setting in as I left to get back up to the road. Luckily had a flashlight. So on the way back I came upon an object in my path of travel. Rock or rabbit? I finally got close enough to determine the ears were definitely more characteristic of a rabbit. I took a couple photos although they didn't turn out decent because of the low light. I heard Bosun baying from way up on the logging road, it was so ridiculous. That's my basset. The only other thing I saw was a ruffed grouse.
