What I'm thankful for this holiday season: Degrassi: The Next Generation.
It's everything you secretly wanted to happen in high school (at least to your classmates that you didn't particularly like) but didn't, simply because it's humanly impossible for two back-to-back classes to get so thoroughly screwed. Here's a sampling of occurrences that strike the kids of Degrassi: school shooting and suicide, dealing with a new disability, fatal stabbing from a rival school student, teen pregnancy - keeping, adopting out and aborting; coke use, ecstasy, underage binge drinking, gay beatings, coming out, gay father, mental instability, child abuse, jail time, hit-and-run, internet stalker, premeditated gothness, teacher marrying mother of student, new sibling, risque internet photos, venereal disease outbreaks, color-coded bracelets for how far you went, oral sex in a van down in a gully, getting evicted from dorm, abusive boyfriend, getting trashed before a school dance, cutting, alcoholic mother, house fire, dad in army, rape, selling pharmaceuticals to fund your illegitimate baby, unsuccessful trial, anorexia, bulemia, bipolar, stealing car from parent's car lot, becoming hobo temporarily, stolen guitar, premature drug-induced marriage proposal, getting kicked out by parents, born-again Christians, second-generation immigration, discovering you're bisexual, garage band's artistic differences, dead ferret.

To drastically deviate from such a serious topic (or perhaps not). Rumor at the dinner table said you want to see those two videos I, Justin's delightful brother, took at his 21st birthday that he wont even let you near.

    This can be arranged.
