Recall that two blogs ago I pondered the incredibleness that was me staying well. I blogged too soon, for now I have fallen ill. Hopefully it will turn into nothing more vicious than a cold.

I found out from my math professor that since the class is not college level algebra the grade I earn will not be factored into my GPA. Well how about that! For once I actually want and need to care and it's going to crumble. I have an A in that class and it doesn't even freaking count. Wonderful. So now I have just three classes from which my GPA will be calculated and one of them is geology.

Which brings me to that class..prof. was back today, said he had made the test too long and that we'd get time to work on the last section more in class. Unfortunately, he'd already graded the first section, which meant that I didn't get to try and improve on that..I know I could have come up with some more answers too, which is a bummer, and as is I did sufficiently horrible. Thank goodness I had actually looked into the questions I was unsure of right after the test on monday with the suspicion of extra time, so I could at least elaborate more on my essays. I realized after turning the test back in that I made a really stupid mistake involving switching directions and types of volcanism. I'm hoping that he'll get that I pretty much knew what I was talking about and treat it as an accidental mix-up. So, all in all, my grade will go from truly horrible to just plain horrible. Woopdedoo.

Wow, my day sounds depressing. It's Friday though, and that alone nearly crushes the negative aspects. Plus I learned a new word: fossiliferous.
