'Tis Becky's birthday today. Happy Birthday Beckers!
Current Happenings:
Went to a volunteer orientation last Tuesday at Heartland Humane Society. Lots of adorable cats (and a few dogs, including a super cute brown and white springer spaniel).
Got the call from Lakeview to get the ball rolling on being hired for next field season! Expecting paperwork soonish. Tentatively scheduled to start June 8. More bat work and possibly sagegrouse trapping.
Went to Rogue Brewery in Newport the night of Tony's birthday (Feb. 26). Delicious Mocha Porter. Met up with Corrina and friends from Lincoln City and Tony's fellow PSM students. Got back around 1.
Went to Lincoln City to participate in a role-playing murder mystery game at Corrina's with roommate Ame and friend Elaine (who was in my class at HRVHS...and AP English with crazy Lorenzen). It was rather awkward and the clues proved too difficult to solve without some "supernatural intervention" (i.e. Game Master Corrina's assistance ). Excellent food though..lots of homemade deliciousness.
Met mum in Troutdale to get my bike down here - which has proved to be ridiculously more convenient and fun than making the 20+ minute walk to campus for work.
Recently, playing a fair amount of Super Nintendo. Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2. Brings back fond memories from the mid 90's. I'm trying to remember what games we had besides DK 2, Killer Instinct, Super Mario Kart, and the Mario games. Becky, you remember?

Hmm... I don't remember others, besides rentals -- like Zelda and Ren and Stimpy. Strange... maybe we really did just play the same ones over and over!
